Job Description: Team Leader
Golden Corral is seeking a Team Leader for our location in Tallahassee, FL, 32303. The Team Leader will be responsible for shift management, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded, and managing productivity to control costs while meeting Golden Corral standards. This may include managing a single department or the entire operation in the absence of a manager.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all guests have a pleasurable dining experience
- Ensure team members are following all safety and sanitation guidelines set forth by Golden Corral
- Ensure team members are following all recipes accurately
- Manage productivity to control cost while meeting Golden Corral standards
- Manage inventory control by ensuring recipes are followed and managing waste
- Complete production forms and sanitation checklists
- Communicate management goals to team members
- Delegate duty roster responsibilities and follow up to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure work stations are clean and organized at all times
- Ensure all cash control procedures are followed by cashiers at all times
- Execute proper security and cash handling procedures at all times
- Follow and execute all Golden Corral policies
- Monitor dining room and all other departments, including restrooms and parking area for cleanliness or other unexpected issues
- Address guest concerns that may arise
- Consult with management regarding any complex issues that may arise
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members, management, and guests
- Perform any and all tasks above during the shift
