As a Delivery Driver, you play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and timely delivery of cannabis products to our customers. This position requires a high level of responsibility, professionalism, and independence, as you will be trusted to represent the Golden Apple brand while adhering to all state regulations and company protocols. Prior experience in cannabis delivery, especially within the local SLO County area, is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver cannabis products to customers
- Maintain efficient delivery routes and schedules
- Ensure order accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Verify customer identity and ensure compliance with all legal requirements
- Handle products and payments responsibly and accurately
- Load, unload, and transport packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Provide professional, courteous, and friendly customer service
- Follow all company procedures and security protocols at all times
- Perform cleaning and light maintenance duties when not on deliveries
Requirements (Musts)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass an extensive background check
- Weekend flexibility is required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with NO major violations
- Proven reliability and punctuality (attendance is critical in this role)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Comfortable spending extended periods driving and working independently
- Strong awareness of safety and security practices
- Preferred: Previous cannabis delivery experience, ideally within San Luis Obispo County
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 30 per week
