Agronomy Apprentice Position - $1500 Sign-on BONUS!
Job Type: Full-Time - Hourly - Livermore, IA
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm *Extended hours including weekends during peak season
Salary Range: $45K - $48K

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for learning Gold-Eagle Agronomy products, services, and inventory management
- Assist in equipment maintenance and service records
- Calibrate machines to a field ready status before each season
- Professional quality of work in and out of the field
- Maintain and grow local business with dignity, honesty, and class
- Attend Mandatory Gold-Eagle Agronomy meetings throughout the year
- Have a desire to learn the trade
- Learn crop production systems; crop scouting and staging, herbicides, seed placement and recommendations and beyond.
- Fertilizer/soil sampling with recommendations based on analysis and yield goals
- Ability to blend fertilizer and follow label when blending crop protection products
- Ability to read maps, follow directions, operate equipment with computer assisted operations
- Good communication skills/verbal/written
- Very high level of motivation and organizational skills
- Work well with others so they can take instructions from the agronomy sales team, effective listening is critical
Training/Experience:
- Agricultural background
- Previous Experience not required
- Product Training and Field Days
- Career Advancement and all other trainings suggested by senior staff
- Custom Applicator's License/CDL - recommended but not required, we will train
Physical Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
Salary : $45,000 - $48,000
