Summary:
We are looking for a Certified Professional Tripwire Administrator to support the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), a component of the Department of Homeland Security, serves as an interagency law enforcement training consortium for 100 U.S. Government law enforcement agencies. The mission of the FLETC is to train the men and women who protect the homeland. This contract will provide technical, administrative, and analytical support for the Cybersecurity Division (CSD), the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Cybersecurity Risk Management & Compliance (CRMC) team, and the Network Operations Security Center (NOSC).
The Contractor personnel must be a Fortra product certified Tripwire administrator and shall serve as the organization’s subject matter expert and be responsible for file and system level integrity monitoring.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Determine which changes increase risk
- Determine which changes result in non-compliance
- Provide support for the use of the Tripwire API
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Must demonstrate a mastery of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of operating, optimizing, extending, and integrating Tripwire products and be able to:
- Detect changes in real-time
- Distinguish between authorized and unauthorized changes
- Identify exactly what changed and by whom
- Determine which changes increase risk
- Determine which changes result in non-compliance
- Provide support for the use of the Tripwire API
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and schedule across multiple projects
- Exceptional attention to detail for quality control of documents and artifacts
- Ability to work pro-actively and autonomously, self-starter
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least five (5) years proven experience as a Fortra product certified Tripwire administrator and shall serve as the organization’s subject matter expert and be responsible for file and system level integrity monitoring
- The contractor assigned this task must possess and maintain a current and relevant Tripwire product certification to work on this contract. Proof of current certification is a prerequisite
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
- Must be a US citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
The salary range for this position is $67,000 - $96,000 annually.
