Summary:
The Asset Management Specialist/Analyst executes daily asset management operations within system-driven environments, ensuring accurate asset tracking, reconciliation, and compliance with ServiceNow workflows and service-level requirements. This role supports inventory accuracy, data integrity, and timely system updates to maintain audit-ready asset accountability.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Process asset updates via ServiceNow/SMP ticketing workflows
- Perform daily reconciliation of asset movements, deployments, and returns
- Support asset attestation tracking and compliance monitoring
- Maintain accurate asset records within the system of record
- Coordinate with Property Custodians and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
- Support barcode/RFID tagging and inventory activities
- 100% data accuracy for asset updates
- Ensure completion of asset updates within 48-hour service-level agreement (SLA) requirements in accordance with ServiceNow workflow timelines
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives and compliance with USPTO asset management policies and federal property accountability standards
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience supporting asset management, inventory tracking, or system-of-record environments
- Experience operating within ServiceNow or similar ticket-driven systems
- Experience supporting data entry, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution within SLA-driven environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ServiceNow, RFID/barcode systems, and federal environment experience
