Gold Standard ABA
Baltimore, MD Full Time
POSTED ON 6/7/2026

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Please note: This position requires in-person assessments for all new cases so they can be submitted to the appropriate insurance providers. If selected for this role, the candidate will also be required to complete credentialing with the various insurance companies our organization is approved with.

As a BCBA, you will lead behavioral therapy programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans that foster meaningful progress. Your expertise will directly impact clients’ growth, independence, and overall well-being through evidence-based practices rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care and positive outcomes. As we launch services, the BCBA will also provide weekly supervision to RBTs and Behavior Technicians (BTs), which may be conducted via telehealth. There is also opportunity for this position to grow into a Clinical Director role if it is the right mutual fit.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee behavior intervention plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, emphasizing behavioral therapy techniques.
  • Conduct detailed patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and strengths.
  • Perform required in-person assessments for new cases to support insurance submission and authorization processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and modify treatment strategies as needed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support consistent implementation of behavioral plans across settings.
  • Provide training and supervision to RBTs and BTs, including weekly supervision (telehealth supervision permitted).
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment summaries aligned with medical terminology.
  • Ensure patient care adheres to all legal and ethical guidelines while fostering a supportive environment for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Complete credentialing and maintain provider compliance with approved insurance companies.

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Maryland Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and patient assessment procedures.
  • Ability to collect and interpret behavioral data accurately while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external providers.
  • Passion for patient care with a commitment to delivering compassionate support tailored to each individual’s needs.

Join us in making a meaningful difference through innovative behavioral health services! We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where your expertise can shine while helping our clients reach their full potential — with the possibility to grow into a leadership role as Clinical Director.
