AM Assistant Manager

As we grow our brand in Denver, Colorado, we are seeking an Assistant Manager to support our concepts at the All Inn Hotel, reporting to our Food Service and Beverage Managers for Fino restaurant, All is Well coffee & cocktail bar, wine garden and events. 


Responsibilities.

  • Support managers and Director of Operations, including but not limited to: placing orders, counting and entering inventory, providing ongoing education to staff, ensuring quality of product and execution, placing vendor orders, checking in orders and ensuring invoices are properly submitted. 
  • Collaborate and work closely with the BOH team, Food Service & Beverage Managers, Director of Ops and lead hourly managers on shift. 
  • Be a leader on the floor during service, leading by example at all times.
  • Assist in training, managing, and coaching the hourly staff, providing support and in-the-moment training and feedback to develop their skills as hospitality professionals.
  • Ensure that the hourly staff is adhering to hospitality standards, service standards, and company standard operation procedures at all times.
  • Creating a fun, friendly, positive work environment for all staff, modeling behaviors of kindness, empathy, hard work, and excellence at all times. 
  • Help open the F&B concepts, managing the floor five shifts per week.
  • Assist in staff training and development, and ongoing staff assessments.
  • Display a strong sense of awareness, perpetually listening and observing ways to enhance guest experience and maintain and improve service standards.
  • Move with urgency, maximizing efficiency to deliver excellent hospitality and service to guests.
  • Assist the entire F&B team in service execution; greet guests at the door, greet tables, deliver water, deliver drinks, deliver food, clear and reset tables, work the host stand, work expo, etc.
  • Remain attentive to guests throughout the entire hotel experience, adhering to or exceeding service standards as established by Take Care Brands at all times.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized under high-pressure situations in order to take care of multiple tables, sections, guests, and staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory restaurant management role (hourly or salaried)
  • Minimum of one year experience in bartending or coffeehouse leadership
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills.
  • Genuine desire to provide thoughtful hospitality and take care of others.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holiday
  • May require knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to determine course of action based on these guidelines.
  • Supervision/management communication skills are required.
  • Ability to make occasional decisions which are generally guided by established policy and procedures.
  • Excellent comprehension for assisting with guest and associate matters.
  • Interpreting & activating on instructions from superiors.
  • Excellent vision required for seating guests, expediting food, cleaning equipment, reading floor plans, charts, schedules.
  • Must have excellent oral communication for communicating with guests and associates, issuing instructions and communicating policies.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry 10-50 lbs on a daily basis.
  • Climbing stairs. 
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. 
  • Ability to open the f&b outlets (6:00AM) daily

Salary : $60,000 - $71,000
