Our small but focused menu consists of Pakistani-inspired small plates along with salads and a few heartier dishes alongside our critically acclaimed cocktail program. This is not a fine dining kitchen, but we pride ourselves on delivering delicious, well-executed and unpretentious food using high-quality ingredients.

Compensation: $23-25/hour (plus tips) - starting rate based on experience

Job title: Line Cook
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Preparing and cooking menu items to the restaurant's high standards
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness at your station and in the kitchen as a whole
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times without exception
- Following the direction of the Kitchen Manager and shift leads
- Opening each station and preparing for service
- Thorough completion of end of shift cleaning tasks
- Assisting the Kitchen Manager with taking end of night stocks and creating prep lists for the AM team
Key requirements:
- Weekend availability required (Friday and Saturday nights)
- 2 years' of culinary or kitchen experience, including on both expo and line
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Punctuality
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written English language comprehension (Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus)
- Experience cooking at various stations on the line in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques for meats, vegetables, etc.
- Strong knife skills
- Teamwork - no ego, no drama

- Positive attitude and a good sense of humor
