GoHedge Plant Rentals & Pruning is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and hard-working candidate with a deep appreciation of plants, plant health, and pruning. Experience in landscaping, nursery work, tree trimming, horticulture, landscape design or some combination thereof is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a small crew in the field
- Tree and shrub pruning (following proper horticultural practices)
- Nursery management and plant care
- Pest and disease identification and management
- Landscape design and producing design templates
- Light irrigation installation and maintenance
- Transport, setup, and takedown of rental plants at events
- Client coordination and scheduling
- General office tasks as needed
Requirements
- B.S. in Horticulture or related field preferred
- Familiarity with plant varieties and pruning fundamentals
- Valid driver's license; ability to drive a truck and trailer
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Compensation & Schedule
- $17–$25/hr depending on experience
- Part-time to full-time role
- Based in the Winterville, GA area
