Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team. This role involves overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient sorting, dispatch, and delivery processes, as well as maintaining strong relationships with Delivery Service Providers (DSPs). The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics or vendor management, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort packages by zip code for delivery by DSPs.
- Load, unload, and move packages and materials within the warehouse.
- Supervise and train temporary workers in sorting procedures and best practices.
- Communicate with DSPs to resolve delivery issues and build partnerships with new DSPs.
- Coordinate truck dispatch and design efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel use.
- Track and manage exceptions such as damaged, lost, or delayed parcels.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and label items for tracking.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Mandarin prefered.
- Experience in logistics operations or vendor management (DSP experience preferred).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of logistics systems and industry regulations is a plus.
- Education: Preferred background in logistics, supply chain management, analytics, engineering, or related fields.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
