Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations. The role involves strategic planning, performance management, cross-departmental collaboration, and process improvements, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the sorting center and warehouse, including receiving, sorting, transfer, staging, and distribution activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations and timely completion of logistics tasks.
- Develop, implement, and optimize warehouse operating procedures and standards to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and warehouse layout, ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data, and promptly resolve inventory discrepancies and operational exceptions.
2. Team Management & Development
- Manage the sorting center and warehouse team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, employee engagement, and development.
- Organize regular training to strengthen employees’ operational skills, service awareness, safety knowledge, and understanding of standard operating procedures.
- Assign daily tasks and flexibly allocate staffing resources based on business volume and operational needs to ensure smooth execution of all warehouse activities.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a productive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.
3. Equipment & Safety Management
- Oversee the maintenance and management of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, racking systems, sorting equipment, and other operational tools.
- Coordinate routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize operational disruptions.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety policies, operating procedures, and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, employee safety training, and emergency drills to protect personnel, cargo, equipment, and warehouse facilities.
4. Cost Control & Performance Management
- Support the development and management of warehouse operating budgets and monitor operational expenses.
- Control costs through process optimization, effective labor allocation, efficient resource utilization, and continuous operational improvement.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, sorting efficiency, operational accuracy, service quality, and overall warehouse performance.
- Analyze operational data, identify performance gaps and inefficiencies, and implement corrective and improvement actions.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to support accurate and timely warehouse cost tracking and provide operational data for management decision-making.
5. Cross-Department Coordination & Customer Service
- Work closely with internal departments, including Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Transportation, and other operational teams, to resolve workflow issues and ensure effective communication.
- Coordinate with external suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners regarding cargo transfers, transportation, and delivery activities to support timely and accurate service.
- Address operational issues, customer complaints, and service feedback promptly and professionally.
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and coordinate corrective actions to improve service quality and maintain strong customer relationships.
6. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Review warehouse and sorting workflows to identify opportunities for improving productivity, labor utilization, package flow, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Implement operational best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce delays, control costs, and enhance overall warehouse performance.
- Use operational data and performance trends to support process improvements and business decision-making.
Requirements Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sorting center operations, warehouse management, logistics operations, or a related field.
- Prior team leadership or people management experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of logistics industry operations and hands-on knowledge of sorting center and warehouse management.
Professional Skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems, such as WMS, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to monitor operational performance, identify issues through data, and develop practical solutions.
- Knowledge of warehouse workflows, inventory control, sorting operations, labor planning, equipment management, and safety compliance.
- Ability to monitor KPIs and translate operational data into measurable improvement actions.
Leadership & Communication
- Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate employees and drive team performance.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with internal departments and external business partners.
- Bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English, with the ability to use both languages effectively in daily operational environments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
