About Your New Role:
As a Buyer you will manage raw material purchasing to ensure daily supply to meet scheduled production and inventory targets across two locations.
Your Hours:
1st Shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm; Monday - Friday
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain preferred; and/or 3 years of experience as a buyer, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Manufacturing Background preferred
- Proficient with data management, spreadsheets and word processing skills.
- Excellent prioritizing and organizing skills.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and unplanned events with the ability to prioritize work and time around them.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Effectively communicate verbally, written and in electronic formats to co-workers and suppliers.
- Excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills.
- Ability to positively work as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
