Starting wage depends on experience.

1st Shift (5am - 3pm) Monday thru Thursday

2nd Shift (3pm to 1am) Monday thru Thursday w/additional $2/hr. shift differential

Overtime is available as needed.

Job Summary for the Welder position:

We are seeking energetic Welders to join our team in either the 1st or 2nd shift. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to ensure the production and assembly of high-quality metal products. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities for the Welder position:

Manual welders tack weld parts in the preliminary bays prior to final or finishing in the welding bays. Robotic welders load individual pieces into the jig to prepare for auto welding and remove from machine. Will tack weld as needed and manual weld to complete a part. Worker may do some manual welding as well.

- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate tools and materials based on the type and thickness of metal being welded.

- Inspect welds for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure high quality and structural integrity.

- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals and complete projects within designated timelines.

- Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines to promote a safe working environment.

General work duties may include: using a pallet jack, operate forklift, change spool of weld wire, material handling. Hand tools are used for measuring and clamping. Overhead crane often used.

Perferences desired for the Welder position:

- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

- Familiarity with various metals, their properties, and welding characteristics.

- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to understand project specifications and requirements.

- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

- Physical stamina and strength to perform physically demanding tasks.

- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
