Label/ Robotic Tech
Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:00am)
Sheboygan Paper Box Company is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Label/ Robotic Technician to join our Finishing Department. In this role, you'll help ensure our automated robotic palletizing systems operate efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory and product labeling. What You’ll Do
- Program and operate robotic palletizing cells for production runs.
- Ensure products are properly cleared and set up within the robotic cell.
- Accurately move finished goods within our inventory management system.
- Verify pallet labels are correct and meet customer-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with shipping personnel to ensure products are released accurately and on time.
- Follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory procedures.
- Use our inventory management software to track and manage finished products.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on robotic equipment, including:
- Robotic palletizing systems
- Stretch wrappers
- Automatic banding equipment
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) safely.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing experience required. Experience working with robotic or automated machinery is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with team members.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance is preferred.
