SEARCHING FOR AN ASSISTANT TEACHER/ FLOATER FROM 11AM to 3PM!
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for our students. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on young lives. This position is Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Supervise classroom while teachers go on lunch breaks.
- Supervise and engage with children during lunch, play, and rest time activities.
- Support children’s needs, including lunch, bathroom assistance, and maintaining routines.
- Float between classrooms to provide coverage as needed.
- Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents in a professional manner.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children (preferred but not required).
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and flexible attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
