In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and caring for children, cooperating with lead and assistant teachers, following lesson plans, supporting the overall classroom plan, and reliably maintaining your schedule. Your energy, patience, and enthusiasm will help children thrive and feel valued.
- Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Flexibility and versatility in "floating" between classrooms and programs. From infants to toddlers to preschoolers.
- Manage behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and gentle guidance to foster good habits and emotional regulation
- Assist with classroom organization, activity setup, and maintaining a clean, safe environment in daycare or preschool settings
Do you have, or are you capable of:
- Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom experience?
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices?
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required (additional certifications related to caregiving or special needs are a plus)?
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism?
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, team members, and children?
- Experience caring for infants through preschool-aged children with a focus on safety and nurturing care?
