What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Application Architect (Enterprise) position at Go2Group LLC?
Join a top-tier, globally scaled organization where enterprise technology plays a central role in how the business operates and evolves. This is a highly visible architecture role with real influence—shaping how applications are designed, integrated, and matured across a complex environment, while staying close to delivery to ensure solutions are practical and implemented.
This is not a pure governance role, and it is not infrastructure-focused. Our team is looking for someone with strong application architecture depth and a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
What you’ll do
- Shape and evolve enterprise application architecture across a complex landscape
- Define standards, patterns, and governance to improve scalability and consistency
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align architecture with real priorities
- Guide platform and solution decisions across Microsoft, SaaS, and integration-heavy environments
- Identify gaps and drive roadmaps for modernization and improvement
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure architecture is practical and delivered
- Communicate architecture direction and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders
Strong fit if you:
- Have deep experience in application architecture (design patterns, integrations, logical architecture)
- Have worked across complex application ecosystems
- Balance strategy with hands-on involvement
- Influence architecture decisions while partnering closely with engineering
Not a fit if your background is primarily:
- Infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps-heavy architecture
- High-level enterprise architecture without involvement in delivery
Experience and environment
- ~8 years in application or enterprise architecture roles
- Experience with platforms such as M365, Azure, SaaS, ERP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, MuleSoft
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and scalable design
- Comfortable in Agile and traditional delivery environments
- Experience in large, complex organizations is helpful
