Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, polished, and highly organized Event Manager to lead childcare operations throughout the Houston market.
This is a leadership role responsible for executing events, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional client and guest experience.
Regional Responsibility
This role will serve as the lead Event Manager for the Houston market, overseeing event execution in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and additional cities within a 4-hour travel radius.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage on-site childcare events from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution
- Oversee event setup, breakdown, and overall operational flow
- Supervise, direct, and support a team of childcare providers
- Maintain proper staff-to-child ratios and enforce all safety standards
- Manage parent check-in/check-out processes using digital systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, planners, venue staff, and corporate leadership
- Attend virtual leadership meetings and communicate regularly with corporate leadership
- Manage inventory, prepare supplies, and handle real-time problem-solving with professionalism
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in childcare, event management, or leadership
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-end environments
- CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
- Must pass a background check
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift and transport event supplies
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and able to travel
Compensation & Perks
- $28–$40/hour (based on experience)
