Registered Behavior Technician Subs School-Based | Escondido, CA | Per Diem

This per diem opportunity is designed for compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) seeking flexible work in a structured school environment. You will provide 1:1 support to students, helping them academically, behaviorally, and socially throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom settings with academic and behavioral needs
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and participation in class activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care when necessary
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age 18 years
• Current TB test as per district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Must have current clearances or be willing to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT (Positive Mental Health Technician), or RBT credentials beneficial but not required
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
