Registered Behavioral Technician Opportunities School-Based | Oceanside, CA | Per Diem
Seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 support for students within a structured school environment. These per diem roles offer flexible scheduling based on school coverage needs, ideal for professionals who want to positively impact student growth academically, behaviorally, and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group assistance following teacher and staff guidance
- Support students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
- Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs as applicable
- Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; 18 years of age required
- Current TB test and clearances or willingness to obtain before starting
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
- Preferred: experience in special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
- Desired: experience working with students with autism or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus but not mandatory
- Dependable, patient, and team-focused attitude
