Support students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school-based setting with flexible, per diem opportunities in Carlsbad, CA. This role is designed for compassionate professionals aiming to positively impact students academic, behavioral, and social development through one-on-one or small-group assistance within structured classrooms.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs of students
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• TB test in accordance with district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Required clearances must be current or obtained prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification or experience is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
