POSITION OVERVIEW
TITLE: Payroll Compliance Specialist – Commercial Services
LOCATION: 6970 S 6th Street Oak Creek, WI 53154
REPORTS TO: Payroll Manager
EMPLOYEE: Part Time, Non-Exempt (25-28 hours)
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Time card Auditing
- Perform daily review of time card entries in the ADP time system.
- Compare scheduled hours to actual hours worked.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or exceptions that may lead to unnecessary labor costs.
- Ensure compliance with internal payroll policies and federal/state labor regulations.
Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with Commercial Services managers across Operations and Sales teams.
- Answer questions regarding employee time and payroll rules.
- Support timecard corrections and ensure timely and accurate updates.
Payroll Compliance
- Monitor for adherence to payroll rules and system controls.
- Proactively identify potential issues related to pay codes, overtime, or scheduling anomalies.
Special Projects
- Assist with payroll-related projects and reporting as assigned.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for timekeeping processes.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Education - High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience - 3 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or finance. Prior experience with ADP systems a plus.
Technical Skills - Proficiency in Excel and comfort navigating timekeeping and payroll platforms.
