GO Physical Therapy is seeking a Receptionist to provide PRN front desk coverage for our clinic locations in the Lincoln area. This position will provide coverage between multiple facilities for all front desk activities in Lincoln. Ideal candidate will have flexibility in availability and open to working from 4 hours to 20 hours a week with variable hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm on an on call basis. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Use outstanding customer service skills to meet client intake.
- Answer all incoming phone calls.
- Schedule patient appointments and keep schedule up to date and accurate.
- Prior to a new evaluation, call and verify appointment time and date with patient.
- Manage waiting room. Make sure no patient is left waiting, announce upon arrival and print label for each patient and discipline.
- Assists clients and staff with questions as they occur.
- Responsible for overall admissions procedures, including:
- Admit all new patients in a timely, accurate fashion (all correct information collected and entered correctly in system).
- Correct discharge process of patients
- As patients are discharged, responsible for coding EMR system appropriately.
- Coordinate discharge audits
- For discharge audits, complete information in chart, review super bills to statements to ensure all information was billed correctly or make sure charts get to the correct auditor.
- Verification of benefits for new patients
- Verify which therapy services are covered and are not covered (for example: aquatics, Ionto, etc.) before end of the next business day and notify therapist of any specifics.
- Authorization for additional visits / management of number of visits left, coordination with therapists.
- Notify therapists in a timely fashion when recertification is needed.
- Maintain patient and family confidentiality at all times.

- Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Follow GO PT polices and procedures, including safety processes.
