Grinder 2nd-shift

Job Description- $20 per hour with a $2 shift differencial.

·        Inspect a wide variety of commercial and manufactured parts for compliance with engineering specifications and company standards 

·        Verify correct product using job traveler 

·        Use inspection methodology and record all results including precision measuring tools

·        Interpret complex drawings, process sheets, and company standards 

·        Work with quality and management departments for any manufacturing issues/defects 

·        Monitor machine performance and perform preventative maintenance to assure continuity of production 

·        Read part drawing with sectional views 

·        Maintain plant standards in areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, 5S, housekeeping, teamwork, and attendance 

·        Other duties as assigned 

Basic Qualifications: 

·        Must be at least 18 years of age

·        Must be willing to learn

·        Mechanical aptitude

·        Blueprint reading ability required

·        Precision measuring tools required

·         Dependable, honest, quick learner, effective communication skills and team player  

·        Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met 

Preferred Qualifications: 

·        High school diploma or GED

·        1-3 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

Solid work history, team player
