Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Perform lawn care duties like aeration, fertilization, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf
- Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features such as patios or walkways
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate landscaping machinery and hand tools confidently
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and irrigation system setup
- Knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming and planting to support healthy growth
