The Go Green Initiative (GGI) is seeking a full-time, remote Manager of Finance & Operations to serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and a steward of the systems that allow our mission to thrive.
This role is the operational backbone of GGI — ensuring our finances are sound, our grants are compliant, and our organization is well-positioned to responsibly manage public and philanthropic funding. From payroll and HR administration to grant reporting and financial coordination, this role enables GGI’s leadership to stay focused on impact, growth, and partnership.
This is a critical role in our organization for someone who enjoys building strong systems, managing complexity, and bringing clarity and order to mission-driven work.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee payroll and HR administration, including multi-state payroll compliance
- Manage grant administration, reimbursements, and reporting for government and philanthropic funders
- Coordinate bookkeeping and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness
- Partner with the CEO, staff, Board, and external vendors to support informed financial decision-making
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in finance, operations, payroll, or grants administration
- Experience with government or public-sector grants
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or similar)
- Strong organizational judgment, attention to detail, and a systems-oriented mindset
