Prominent music school seeks reliable, skilled, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant for unique, fulfilling and flexible administrative opportunity.
We are a team of devoted musicians and teachers seeking someone with a passion for music/ education to join our team! This is a 6-10 hour weekly contract position for a hands-on individual who desires contributing to a greater mission and is seeking a long-term part-time convenient opportunity! The role is challenging yet flexible by way of work-life balance as well as seasonally based additional opportunities for more hours based on experience and school schedule.
Hours: Some weekend hours necessary, approximately 6-10 hours per week, occasional event obligations evenings and weekends with notice.
Qualifications:
Skills & Abilities
- Customer service orientation, high energy, and friendliness,
- Experience with professional email etiquette - strong written communication skills
- Experience working with customers, vendors, and colleagues
- Ability to be self-directed; excellent follow through and task memory skills
- Handling payments (checks, card, cash); good record keeping, filing skills, and troubleshooting
- Multi-tasking, efficient time management and prioritizing skills
- Experience in an academic environment, scheduling experience, calendar management, and experience working with coordination
- Collaboration and helpful approach to work processes; good professional business ethic
- Task orientation and organization with a professional demeanor
- Ability to operate in moderately fast-paced and fluctuating environments while staying calm under pressure
