What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piano Teacher with Suzuki Training, Wayland School of Music position at Wayland School of Music?
Seeking a highly-qualified candidate to teach private piano lessons with both Suzuki and traditional methodology, to children and adults. Start summer or fall 2025.
Prefer one candidate for five afternoon/evenings a week, taking over established studio, or could split between two qualified candidates. Total about 20 hours weekly.

Compensation is hourly, at a rate competitive with other local schools of similar high quality. Overall annual compensation depends on growth of studio and total number of hours taught.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Education or Music Performance
- Suzuki training registered with SAA through book 2, OR willing to take training immediately
- Minimum 8-10 years professional teaching experience
- Performance credits that demonstrate professional-level performing competence
- Enthusiasm for teaching and ability to connect with students of all ages and levels
- Punctuality and professionalism
Pay: $60.50 - $72.00 per hour
