WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a self-motivated Flooring Contractor to join our team!
The Flooring Contractor for GO FLOORING will be responsible for installing carpet, hard surfaces, and tile.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Follow plans to install flooring in new construction projects
- Remove old floorings from existing structures, as needed
- Move furniture and appliances as ordered by customer
- Clear the working surface of dust and debris
- Prepare the surface to be worked on by applying adhesive and grout, as needed
- Install flooring ordered by customer
- Ensure all flooring that you install is well-positioned and secure
- Confirm satisfaction with customer after installation
- Collect payments from customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year of flooring installation experience required, specifically carpet
- Insurance Required
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with common flooring installation practices
- Ability to work with a wide variety of tools and techniques
- Good mathematical skills
- Knowledge about different types of floorings like wood, tiles, vinyl plank, and others
- Excellent eye for detail
- Demonstrating excellent physical strength
- Strong communication and analytical skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to hear and respond to conversations professionally
- Ability to handle varying stress levels (low, moderate, high, very high) and maintain professional composure.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
SCHEDULE
- Monday - Saturday
- Weekend Availability
- Travel required
