Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Specialist in the Oil & Gas industry in Chicago, Illinois. Responsibilities include:
- Advise sales teams and prospective clients on Oil & Gas use cases
- Own relationships with Oil & Gas prospects from first contact to contract closure
- Learn and replicate Go Abacus’s strategic business development approach
- Host solution demos to educate prospects on capabilities and regulatory value
- Lead contract negotiation and pricing
- Provide thought leadership for AI in Oil & Gas to be used for marketing content creation
Sales roles offer a base salary starting at $68,000, complemented by a competitive and uncapped commission structure. Total compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information system, engineering, energy, supply chain or a related field
- 3 years of experience of consulting, vendor management, enterprise software sales or compliance in the Oil & Gas industry
- Knowledge of safety management, environmental reporting, asset integrity or regulatory compliance concepts
- Requires travel up to 20% of the time for conferences
