Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Specialist in the Aerospace & Defense industry in Chicago, Illinois. Responsibilities include:
- Advise sales teams and prospective clients on Aerospace & Defense use cases
- Own relationships with Aerospace & Defense prospects from first contact to contract closure
- Learn and replicate Go Abacus’s strategic business development approach
- Host solution demos to educate prospects on capabilities and regulatory value
- Lead contract negotiation and pricing
- Provide thought leadership for AI in Aerospace & Defense to be used for marketing content creation
Sales roles offer a base salary starting at $68,000, complemented by a competitive and uncapped commission structure. Total compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, aerospace engineering, manufacturing, information systems or a related field
- 3 years of experience of consulting, vendor management, enterprise software sales or compliance in the Aerospace & Defense industry
- Knowledge of aerospace engineering, control systems, defense ecosystems and regulatory frameworks
- Requires travel up to 20% of the time for conferences
