Description of Duties
Under general supervision, conduct culturally appropriate health education, case coordination and management, and community outreach alongside the HIV Prevention team. Provides HIV prevention information within the community to reach target and underserved populations and assist them to adopt healthy behaviors. Perform HIV testing and counseling and linkage to appropriate services for clients at increased risk in the community. This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Gwinnett County.
Qualifications
Minimum:
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience in a social services-related position; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Social Svcs Tech 1 (SST010) or position equivalent
