Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery by conducting thorough assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physiology knowledge application.
- Assist during surgical procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs during recovery
- Educate patients on pre- and post-surgical care plans, discharge instructions, and health coaching to promote recovery at home or in community settings.
Experience
Candidates should bring a broad spectrum of nursing experience including medical-surgical care, outpatient surgery center experience, and emergency room exposure.
