What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dedicated Route|Company CDL A OTR Truck Driver - Home Weekly - Solo or Team position at GNC Truck Services LLC?
- We are looking for Solo or Team CDL A Truck Drivers who are highly motivated, organized and detail oriented, to join our growing team of drivers. As a Solo driver this route would run TN to OH to TN roundtrip everyday Tuesdays through Saturdays with Sunday and Monday off in TN. This is a dedicated drop and hook route with no touch freight. If you are team then it would run TN to OH to NJ with same off days. Routes are straight through and expected to be delivered asap. This route begins July 21st.
The ideal truck driver candidate will:
- Have a valid CDL A
- At least 1-2 years of experience in the commercial truck driving industry
- Demonstrate their ability to work as part of a regional/team based operation.
- Have a good Driving Record
- No drug or alcohol violations
The right solo or team truck driver candidate will possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A successful truck driver candidate will take good care of the assigned truck, work with our 24/7 dispatch team to run daily operations & support clients, utilizing customer service skills and customer relationship management in order to build long-lasting business relationships..
Responsibilities:
- Do pre and post trip inspections.
- Be familiar with the trucking industry and regulations.
- Navigate through Intersate highways.
- Drive safely in bad weather conditions.
- Work weekends as needed.
- Drive at night.
- Remain alert while driving long distances.
- Report Maintenance needs.
- Report Load Issues.
- Be able to use ELD.
- Communicate with our 24/7 dispatch team.
- Communicate in a respectful and professional manner to our clients and coworkers.
- Able to follow instructions.
