Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wireless Sales Store Manager to lead our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a passion for wireless technology, and a proven track record in retail sales and team leadership. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, driving sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Store Manager will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, implementing marketing strategies, and fostering a positive shopping environment.
Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed store targets
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation
- Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate purchasing activities and manage vendor relationships
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote wireless products and services
- Monitor store operations including shift management, scheduling, and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail sales or wireless store environments with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong background in sales management, team management, and customer service excellence
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS systems, and retail math principles
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing techniques
- Prior experience in recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks preferred
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team environment
- Excellent organizational skills with effective time management capabilities
- Familiarity with assistant manager responsibilities or supervisory experience in retail settings is advantageous
