Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead our human resources function and drive initiatives that support organizational growth and employee engagement. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who can balance hands-on operational management with strategic planning, partnering closely with senior leadership to shape people strategy across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee talent acquisition strategy, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations, ensuring compliance with company policy and employment law.
- Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal-setting frameworks, reviews, and career development plans.
- Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs; conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitiveness.
- Lead organizational development initiatives, including succession planning, workforce planning, and change management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor law changes.
- Manage and mentor HR team members (coordinators, generalists, recruiters), fostering their professional growth.
- Own HR metrics and reporting (turnover, engagement, time-to-hire, etc.) and present insights to leadership.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organization.
- Oversee HRIS systems and ensure data integrity, process efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, culture-building programs, and internal communications related to HR policy.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience managing employee relations issues and conducting workplace investigations.
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR, or similar).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate HR data into actionable insights.
- Experience managing or mentoring a team.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or MBA.
- HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent).
- Experience in automotive parts manufacturing.
- Experience supporting multi-state or global workforces.
- Background in change management or organizational design.
- Korean language proficiency preferred
