Flooring Installer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation and trim work. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial spaces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Flooring Installer will play a vital role in transforming spaces through precise installation and finishing work, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Must be able to pass a background check. Your skill level will determine starting pay and will be discussed in the job offer and/or interview.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of flooring materials such as carpet, laminate, vinyl plank, and vinyl tile with precision and attention to detail.
• Read and interpret floor plans to execute installations accurately.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors or existing flooring as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and securing flooring materials.
• Perform caulking, trim carpentry, and other tasks as required.
• Loading and unloading heavy materials.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain a clean work environment and manage materials efficiently throughout each project.

Skills

• Proven experience in flooring installation and construction site work.
• Ability to read construction drawings accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, and caulking guns; familiarity with power tools.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques for trim installation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods.
