Job Overview

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner
- Operate Aloha POS and Micros POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage food and beverage transactions efficiently, including upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Prepare simple food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and service stations
- Assist with bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Restock supplies and organize the front area to ensure an inviting environment for customers
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to promote customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service or fast-food restaurant, café, or retail environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Background in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Strong skills in basic math, retail math, or restaurant math for accurate cash handling and sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
- Prior experience with upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer experience
