Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and efficient Cashier/Front Staff to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and welcoming front-of-house area. Experience in food preparation, POS systems, and food industry operations is preferred to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner
• Operate Aloha POS and Micros POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Manage food and beverage transactions efficiently, including upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Prepare simple food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and service stations
• Assist with bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Restock supplies and organize the front area to ensure an inviting environment for customers
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to promote customer satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, quick service or fast-food restaurant, café, or retail environment preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Background in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or grocery store operations is advantageous
• Strong skills in basic math, retail math, or restaurant math for accurate cash handling and sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
• Prior experience with upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.75 - $17.25 per hour
