GMA Construction Group is seeking a Project Engineer. The ideal candidate has a degree in Construction Management or a similar field and at least 2 years of relevant experience.This role will also support the Preconstruction and Estimating departments until assigned to an active project.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe Project Engineer will support our Project Manager and other departments as needed to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the specified quality of workmanship. Essential job duties include:Assist the Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, and coordinationAssist with accurate budget management (buy-out, pay applications, cost reporting, etc.)Change order managementManage and support project engineers overseeing RFIs and submittalsCoordinate and manage critical subcontractorsAssist in resolving issues related to labor disputes, material deliveries, and contract administrationSupport safety and quality control managementManage construction equipment and related logisticsProvide direct support to the Preconstruction and Estimating teams, including document review, quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, and other tasks as required until project assignment Our MissionGMA’s mission is to develop people that will transform communities.We are employee-focused.
