The Senior Salesforce Developer will be part of the IO (International Operations) business team providing business application solutions to enhance dealers' experience while doing business with GM Financial. Day-to-day activities will involve developing on the Salesforce.com platform, creating VisualForce Pages/Apex Classes and providing technical documentation. Responsibilities also include researching and implementing new technology solutions, not necessarily limited to the Salesfore.com platform.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver smart, scalable solutions.
- Build and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex triggers, classes, Flows, and scheduled jobs.
- Support Service Cloud processes, including case management and user workflows.
- Design and implement secure configurations, user permissions, and disaster recovery plans using Own to meet cybersecurity standards.
- Develop and maintain API integrations—both inbound and outbound—with other enterprise systems.
- Lead data synchronization efforts between Salesforce and external platforms.
- Research and implement new technologies to improve system performance and user experience.
- Champion Salesforce best practices and share knowledge across teams.
- Facilitate roadmap planning sessions and lead solution design meetings with business and IT stakeholders.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field; and/or commensurate experience preferred
- 5–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience required.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Salesforce integrations.
- Familiarity with Service Cloud, Cases, Flows, and platform security (encryption, permissions, disaster recovery).
- Strong understanding of API integrations (REST, OpenAPI, Event Catalog).
- Experience with modern UI frameworks (Lightning, Experience Cloud, Angular, React).
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java, C#, Python, or TypeScript).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins) and source control (Git).
- Exposure to AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Einstein AI) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Test automation experience with tools like Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese is highly preferred.
- Industry experience in automotive, financial services, or other regulated environments is a plus.
