Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Seasonal Laborer to join our excavation crew. This position supports a variety of site work activities including digging, grading, site preparation, and general labor tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction and excavation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist equipment operators with excavation and site preparation
- Perform manual labor such as digging, trenching, site leveling tasks, and backfilling
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Fueling and greasing machines
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow directions from supervisors and crew leads
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
- Willingness to work long hours, including occasional weekends
- Reliable transportation to company's construction yard
- Strong work ethic and proactive attitude toward learning new skills within the excavation industry.
- Prior construction or excavation experience preferred, but not required
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, bend, and work for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license
