POSITION SUMMARY
The Performance Media Specialist is responsible for the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across multiple clients and industries. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong expertise in campaign setup, performance optimization, creative iteration, and data analysis.
You will own campaigns end-to-end. From campaign configuration and launch to ongoing optimization and scale, you will ensure all campaigns are built accurately, tracked properly, and continuously improving against business objectives. You’ll collaborate closely with strategy, creative, analytics, and account teams to drive measurable outcomes and turn media into a predictable growth engine.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage paid media strategies aligned to client objectives and performance KPIs (CPA, ROAS, CVR, etc.)
- Own campaign execution across platforms including Meta, Google, YouTube, and programmatic channels
- Create and maintain campaign configuration to ensure alignment across audience, creative, budget, and measurement
- Oversee campaign setup, trafficking, QA, and launch readiness across all platforms
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance, identifying drivers of success and areas for improvement
- Analyze creative performance (CTR, CVR, engagement, thumb-stop rate) to identify what’s working and why
- Translate performance insights into clear, actionable recommendations for creative and strategy teams
- Continuously iterate on creative to combat fatigue and improve efficiency at scale
- Build and execute structured testing roadmaps across creative, audiences, and landing pages
- Manage budget pacing, allocation, and forecasting to ensure campaigns deliver on target and in full
- Ensure accurate tracking and measurement, including pixel setup, conversion events, and UTM frameworks
- Partner with analytics teams to validate data integrity and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain clean campaign structures and naming conventions for scalability and reporting
- Deliver clear performance reporting and communicate insights, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure integrated, full-funnel campaign execution
- Leverage AI and automation tools to improve speed, efficiency, and performance
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-6 years of experience in performance media or digital marketing, ideally within an agency environment
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
- Strong understanding of campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis
- Experience with tracking, tagging, and analytics tools (e.g., GA4 or similar)
- Familiarity with creative testing and performance-driven iteration
- Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and comfort working with data and performance metrics
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience working in cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, analytics)
