What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAINTENANCE LABORER position at GLS Industries?
2nd Shift – 3pm-11pm
$25-35/hour
50lbs lifting requirement
Steel toes required
English is required, but bilingual in Spanish would be helpful.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on automated concrete paver production equipment, such as conveyor systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Conducts preventative maintenance according to schedules to maintain equipment reliability and longevity.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment performance and address any operation concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience performing maintenance in a production setting, concrete plants especially.
- Not afraid to get dirty during their shift. Grease, dirt, and dust.
- Experience or education in welding is required.
- Ability to operate, or willingness to learn forklifts.
- Experience working with concrete production machines.
Experience in robotics, programming, electronics or hydraulics is desired but not required.
