$55-$60/hour W2
12 Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced Rhapsody Developer to support critical healthcare interoperability initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with clinical, technical, and product teams to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange between healthcare systems and applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Rhapsody integration solutions
- Design and support HL7 v2 and FHIR-based integration pipelines
- Implement and maintain RESTful FHIR APIs
- Work with EHR platforms such as Epic and Cerner to enable bi-directional data exchange
- Translate clinical and operational workflows into technical integration solutions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployment, monitoring, and support of integrations
- Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards and data security requirements
- Support Electronic Lab Reporting (ELR), Electronic Case Reporting (eCR), Master Patient Index (MPI), and related healthcare data exchange processes
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing integration environments
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of hands-on experience developing integrations with Rhapsody
- 2 years of experience working with HL7 v2 and FHIR
- Strong RESTful API development and integration experience
- Experience working with JSON, XML, and HL7 message formats
- Experience with healthcare integration tools and middleware
- Strong SQL skills, including PostgreSQL and/or Oracle databases
- Knowledge of healthcare terminologies and standards such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ICD-10
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of FHIR resources and HL7 messaging standards
- Experience with FHIR platforms such as HAPI FHIR, Firely, or AWS FHIR services
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare interoperability projects
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
