Work Schedule: Must be able to work five 12-hour shifts; 2 weeks on and 1 week off
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification a plus.
- 1 year of experience in fiber optic installation, splicing, or related work preferred
- Proficient in working with 200-micron ribbon fiber and foundational data center network architectures such as Base-16.
- Basic knowledge of fusion splicers (Fujikura, Sumitomo) preferred.
- Ability to work safely in confined spaces and at heights.
- Strong attention to detail, quality work and willingness to learn advanced techniques.
Required certifications (must be current or obtained upon hire):
- Adult First Aid / CPR
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction
- RF Safety & Awareness
- DOT Medical Card and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are desirable but not required.
Travel Requirements
- Extensive travel (greater than 50%) is expected.
- Must be willing and able to travel out of town and work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
