Payroll Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Payroll specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the payroll processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $70,304
Work Location: Livermore
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, bonuses, etc.
· Collects timesheet data and payroll information.
· Manage all deductions and garnishments.
· Prepares and processes paychecks and cash deposits.
· Troubleshoot and respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns.
· Performs account balance and payroll reconciliations.
· Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams.
· Stay up-to-date with labor law regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
· 3 years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
· 3 years of ADP WFN experience required.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
· Strong knowledge in current labor laws.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Experience working with accounting and payroll software.
· Detailed-oriented.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· MS Office Suit proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
· Ability to travel and work in an office environment.
· Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to list and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
· Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull, bend multiple times a day.
· Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
