Glocomms is partnering with a global industrial materials manufacturer to find a Systems Administrator to support and improve end‑user technology across their organization. This role sits between Help Desk and Systems Administration, with ownership of endpoint platforms and collaboration tools. You'll focus on reliability, security, automation, and improving how employees work day to day.
What You'll Do
- Manage and support end‑user devices, including provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management
- Automate software deployment, updates, and routine IT workflows
- Participate in day‑to‑day IT support while improving processes to reduce manual work
- Administer and enhance Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration workspaces
- Help modernize workflows by replacing legacy or manual processes with automated, self‑service solutions
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation for users and IT teams
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of experience supporting users and systems in a business environment
- Hands‑on experience with endpoint management, patching, scripting, and automation
- Experience supporting collaboration platforms (e.g., messaging, document sharing, teamwork tools)
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and structured support workflows
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical processes clearly
- A mindset focused on standardization, improvement, and automation
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or workflow automation tools
- Exposure to mobile device management (MDM) solutions
- Experience administering Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
- Background in environments moving from manual support to service‑based or automated delivery
