Our client is a fast-growing, early-stage, financial technology company focused on risk management and performance analysis software for hedge funds. Their New York City office is near Grand Central Terminal.
Their mission is to provide hedge funds with best-in-class risk management and performance analysis software. They work closely with their hedge fund clients to integrate their platform with their back-office systems and ensure they get the most out of the offered service. This is truly software as a service.
Glocap’s Client is seeking a mid- to senior-level Software Infrastructure Engineer with strong C# development skills and experience building infrastructure and operating cloud-based systems on AWS. This role will focus on backend to middle-layer application development, cloud architecture, and production support for our SaaS platform used by our global hedge fund clients.
Your role will be to maintain and evolve the AWS infrastructure and data platform that supports our applications, while also writing and maintaining high-quality C# code. This position is well-suited to engineers from banks, hedge funds, or institutional fintech who are comfortable working across application code and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and application components using C#, MS-SQL, and Aurora.
- Contribute directly to application codebases, including core business logic and data processing.
- Architect, deploy, and operate AWS infrastructure with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
- Work directly with hedge fund clients on technical integrations, deployments, and support.
- Participate in architectural discussions spanning application design, data storage, and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3 years of professional software/infrastructure engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience writing production C# code.
- Proficiency with SQL, writing stored procedures, and relational databases.
- Proven experience with AWS, including: EC2, RDS, Aurora, S3, VPC, VPN, and IAM.
- Experience working in capital markets environments.
- Familiarity with financial systems, risk analytics, market data, or trading workflows is a plus.
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
- Hybrid role: at least 2 days per week in our New York City office.

Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
