Position Summary
The Distribution Coordinator oversees the coordination of receiving, releasing, storing, shipping, staging, and ensuring quality control of HCT/P’s (Human Cells, Tissues, and Cellular and Tissue- Based Products) obtained from Contracted Processing Laboratories (CPL)in accordance with BBA Standard Operating Procedures, AATB guidelines, and FDA regulations. This position may be assigned to either Shipping or Staging functions and will support operations based on business needs. Team members in this role are expected to maintain flexibility and may be reassigned between areas as priorities shift to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Essential Functions
- Receive and Reconcile incoming HCT/P’s from CPL
- Stage work-in-progress HCT/P’s in accordance with Product and Packaging Specifications
- Store work-in-progress HCT/P’s in appropriate climate-controlled environments
- Assist with inventory management, product traceability and production record maintenance
- Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventories
- Receive, store, ship, and destroy Autograft tissue as requested
- Quarantine HCT/P’s as required
- Prepare orders, Inspect, and Release supplies required to stage, store and ship HCT/Ps
- Package and Ship HCT/P’s, and track transit conditions and delivery verifications
- Process Return Good Authorizations (RGAs)
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on freezers
- Initiate and complete responses for Unplanned Deviations
- Initiate Change Notices through Document Control as needed
- Conduct weekly secured room cleanings
- Maintain all tracking and equipment logs associated with standard operating functions
- Perform weekly Shipping & Receiving on-call as scheduled
- Perform end-of-day closing procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
- Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
- Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing, packaging, or shipping and inventory environment with product shipping and tracking experience is required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Word, and Excel are required.
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask and attention to detail are essential.
- Focus during repetitive tasks in a challenging, fast-paced environment is necessary.
