Responsibilities:
- Transport fuel to various locations while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the fuel truck to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate logs of fuel deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Load and unload fuel safely, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Respond to emergency situations and spills promptly and efficiently.
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
- Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fuel hauling or a related field.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
